What is the quality of the USYK after its KO Round 5 of Dubois, and that then?

London – With its magnificent demolition of Daniel Dubois round 5 on Saturday, Oleksandr Usyk provided more convincing evidence why it should be considered the best heavy goods vehicle from Lennox Lewis.

The left hook which left Dubois (22-3, 21 kB) in a crumpled pile in front of 90,000 at the Wembley stadium was a thing of beauty, which rightly selected the second reign of Usyk as undeniable world heavyweight champion. Usyk also dropped Dubois on the canvas earlier in the round 5 with a right hand in a completely imperative performance of the Ukrainian.

As long as Usyk (24-0, 15 kos) does not lose a potential trilogy fight with Tyson Fury in April 2026, or another title defense later this year, probably against the former detention of the title WBO Joseph Parker, the incontestable heavy king will fall into history as the best heavy goods vehicle in the past two decades. Not only can that USYK also be considered the best cruiserweight for three decades since Dwight Muhammad Qawi and Evander Holyfield governed in the mid -1980s.

Usyk was the first undisputed Cruiserweight champion and reigned the 2016 to 2018 division before switching to heavy goods vehicles. He has now made five defenses of the heavyweight title against high -level opponents – of former current champions and champions.

The achievements of the USYK in heavy goods vehicles have exceeded what he managed to Cruiserweight, and he beat the best of his time (Fury, Dubois and Anthony Joshua) – twice – to put arguments out of doubt about who is the best. Dubois argued that he had marked a legitimate punch during their first meeting two years ago, but he was (rightly so) a low blow. Usyk overwhelmed the Briton in large blows and fiery the rest of the fight for a TKO of the ninth round, and in the Revenge match produced an even more categorical conclusion.

Parker (36-3, 24 KB), 33, will beat his friend Fury to Usyk, it seems, as a compulsory challenger WBO.

“The WBO says that he must fight Joseph Parker then, so it will be the fight,” said Queensberry promoter promoter Frank Warren.

It is difficult to envisage how a resurgent parker, which is in the best form of his life, will threaten the heritage of Usyk.

Parker won the WBO belt with a point decision on Andy Ruiz in 2016, then lost it in a third fight in defense and unification against Anthony Joshua in March 2018. Impressive victories on Deontay Wilder, Zhilei Zhang and Martin Bakole in the past two years have resisted Parker’s career, but the others.

Fury and Joshua, two twice world champions, have won good victories on Wladimir Klitschko, and Fury also stopped the dangerous Puncher Wilder twice in world title fights.

But USYK’s unmoved record, with a total of 13 world -reigning fighting victories as well as a 2012 Olympic gold medal, accumulates better. Usyk Vitali and Wladimir Klitschko’s compatriots with their higher scope and size could have made things difficult for Usyk.

Wladimir’s Jab-et-Grab strategy was sometimes breathtaking during his reign of nine and a half years, and it may have frustrated USYK at the point of defeat. Vitali and Wladimir governed the heavyweight division between them, holding all the belts at some point, from 2004, when Vitali became champion after his loss on the Cups in Lewis in 2003, to Fury put the ears of Wladimir in 2015.

Wladimir produced 18 reigning defenses in a second reign as a unified world champion (2006-2015), with his best victories on David Haye, Alexander Povetkin and Jean Marc Mormeck. Vitali (45-2, 41 KB) made two defenses of the WBO belt, before 10 defenses on two reigns as WBC champion, which were interrupted by an injury, with destructive victories on Samuel Peter, Danny Williams and Herbie Hide.

The figures of the Klitschko brothers are higher than those which have so far compiled by Usyk (23-0, 14 KB), which has made five defenses of the title of heavy goods vehicles and six title defenses Cruiserweight. But Usyk has better names on its record and is an undeniable triple world champion.

Usyk has become the first world’s undeniable world heavyweight champion recognized since Lewis (41-2, 32 ko), who beat fighters such as the greats of all time Holyfield, Mike Tyson and Klitschko in three reigns as champion, with 17 victories, 2 defeats and 1 draw in the fights in the world of heavyweights.

Like Vitali, Wladimir and Lewis, Usyk launched his professional career at the back of a triumph of the Olympic gold medal and while he closes at the end of his career, whether this year against Parker or next year against Fury, his heritage seems to be the strongest of all heavy goods vehicles since Lewis.
