Weekend stock racing lessons for Watertown and Aberdeen

Watertown – Mother Nature put another shock absorber on another planning race program on Sunday July 20, 2025, at the Speedway Casino.

The racing season was delayed one week by a postponement on opening day and was followed by four consecutive race programs. Since then, four of the last six events planned for the casino have been destroyed by rain or heat.

The actions tour of rue DRC.-TV will highlight the next weekly race program on Sunday July 27 at 6.30 p.m.

Other racing programs are scheduled for Sunday August 3, 10 and 24 and Saturday August 16 before the season championship program on Sunday September 31.

The battle for seasonal points titles is very in the air. Todd Stark from Watertown (266 points) leads his colleagues driver from Watertown Tommy Nichols (262) and Terry Reilly (234) in Midwest changes.

Andy Rossow from Florence (261) has the head in the street stock class, followed by Maria Broksick from Goodwin (248) and Jayden Bogh by Huron (232). Trevor Walsh from Watertown is the first (262), Curt Kranz from Watertown Second (256) and Tony Croninger by Watertown Thrid (253) in the Division Model Gen X.

Chad Becker d’Aberdeen (257), Jayson Good by Watertown (252) and Trevor Anderson (246) open the way in the class of the late model. Mike Stearns d’Aberdeen (208), Nate Heinrich de Bellingham, MN (205) and Adam Brotheton de Huron (193) are the main ones of the modified class.

Jeff Rohner de Willmar, MN (223) takes first place in the Hornets class, according to Nathan Smith by Watertown (199) and Christian Kast de Fairmnt, ND (194).

Miller Central Speedway

Miller – The pilots of the Trevor Nelson region of Warner, Dylan Zabel de Selby and Mike Stearns of Aberdeen each won traits during a double head on Friday and Saturday July 18, 2025.

Nelson (Super Stocks) and Stearns (late model) have each won every night. On Friday, Zabel won the modified functionality.

The next race program planned for the track is Saturday August 2 at 7 p.m.

With three remaining events, Stearns holds an advance from a point in the late ranking of the model. Stark (Midwest modified), Broksick (Stocks Street) and Nelson are every second of their respective classes.

Fiesta City Speedway

Montevideo, Minnesota – The race program on Friday July 18 started but has not finished because of the rain.

The pure stock and Hornet Special is scheduled for Friday July 25 at 7 p.m.

Three events are planned before the special championship races of the Monday season on Monday on Monday September 1. Scott Tofte de Madison, MN (Midwest modified); and Zachary Flickinger of Madison, MN (street stocks).

Friday, August 22, four events are scheduled for the championships of the season. Nate Heinrich de Bellingham (MN) is currently leading the modified division. The other pilots in the Darren region generate Gary (Midwest Modifieds), Shawn Schnabel d’Aberdeen (Super Stocks) and Bradley Rossow from Florence (Hornets) are each in third place.

Brown County Speedway

Aberdeen-The Dacotah Bank Rumble Doubleer (with Tri-State Late Models Special and the DRC.TV Street Stock Tour) is scheduled for Friday and Saturday July 25-26, in Brown County Speedway in Aberdeen. The race opens at 7 am every night.

Another racing program is scheduled for Friday, August 1 before the season’s championship races on Friday August 22.

Stark is currently carrying out the Midwest’s modified division points ranking, followed by Zabel and Taylor Schmidt from Aberdeen. Jayden Bogh from Huron is at the top of street actions, followed by Rossow and Kyle Bertram from Dallas.

Becker holds the head of the end of the model of models in front of Kent Armment of Aberdeen and Thomas Weisgram of Northville. Stearns, Brotheton and Armment are 1-2-3 respectively in the modified class.

Austin Arbogast by Huron and Mark Abeln de Groton share the heads of super stocks. Stuart Schipke d’Aberdeen is third.

Madison Speedway

Madison, MN – The regular weekly race program in Madison (MN) Speedway is scheduled for Saturday July 26 at 7 p.m.

Three events are planned before the special championship races of the Monday season on Monday on Monday September 1.

The leading points leaders include pilots in the T. Croninger (late models of generation X); Scott Tofte de Madison, MN (Midwest modified); and Zachary Flickinger of Madison, MN (street stocks).

Special races in Canby

The late models of generation X, Midwest changes, street stocks and Hornets will fight during the Yellow Medicine county races on Thursday July 24 in Renegade Speedway in Canby, MN. The race opens at 7 p.m.
