Prediction of the alignment of 53 men before the first practice

Before the first practice of the Jaguars training camp, here is an early prediction of what the list of 53 men will look like.

With the first training in Jacksonville Jaguars training camp almost here, let’s take a swing to predict what the final list of 53 men looks like.

While Ota and Minicamp provided us with some additional information, whether through individual performance, where players were aligned, or on the units with which they worked, the final alignment decisions will be taken according to what is happening in the coming weeks.

Thus, to indicate the evidence, many things can, and to a certain extent, will probably change. But given what we know at the moment, here is how the list of the 53 men of the Jaguars could get rid of.

Quarterrière (2): Trevor Lawrence, Nick Mullens

The question here is whether the list of jaguars two or three quarters on the 53-man. For me, I would prefer to see two with this place, then used in another position where contributions to special teams can be made.

Running back (4): Travis etcnene, tank Bigsby, Bhashul Tuten, Lequint Allen

Will the Jaguars keep four runners? Most of the teams hold three because obtaining many regular keys is a difficult task. In fact, the third rear often does not see much playing time, not to mention a fourth. But that said, to date, I think Jacksonville operates it and does not want to risk put Allen in the training team where another team could claim it.

Large receiver (5): Dyami Brown, Brian Thomas Jr., Parker Washington, Travis Hunter, Josh Cephus

With Hunter playing in both directions, keeping six receivers for more depth makes a lot of sense. However, I could not make sure that the mathematics of the list train by doing this. We know who belongs to the first four places on the depth table, but for fifth place, I went with Cephus, who stood out during the intersane programs.

Tight end (3): Johnny Mud, Hunter Long, Brenton Strange

Another position where I became lighter, leaving Quintin Morris. With Long and Mundt on the list, the Jaguars have covered this blocking role. In addition, with the ability to raise players of the training team on Sunday, they can add more depth on play days if necessary.

Offensive line (10): Walker Little, Ezra Cleveland, Robert Haunsey, Patrick Mekari, Anton Harrison, Chuma Eduga, Cole Van Lanen, Fred Johnson, Wyatt Millum, Jonah Monheim

The jaguars embrace competition on the offensive line this summer while they are looking for their best starting configuration. Regarding the last list, I kept the six new additions that GM James Gladstone made this offseason, Little, Cleveland and Harrison, who all started last season, with Van Lanen, that the team prioritized priority as a limited free agent.

Defensive line (9): Josh Hines-Allen, Travon Walker, Dennis Gardeck, Dawuane Smoot, Arik Armstead, Maason Smith, Davon Hamilton, Emmanuel Ogbah, Tyler Lacy

The Cankek, the Smoot and the Ogbah all reinforce the depth of the defensive end. In the tackle, I went a little lighter with four, since Walker or Smoot could move inside during obvious situations of passage. A 2nd year jump from Smith, as well as Armstead, being back to its natural position, can help the unit of defensive tackle to bounce in 2025.

Sindector (6): Devin Lloyd, Foyesade Oluokun, Jalem Mctleod, Ventral Miller, Charm, Cham Muma, Jack Kisses

Do Jaguars keep six seconds? For the moment, it is difficult to decipher who could be the strange man of this group. Lloyd and Oluokun start, Miller and Muma provide experience, while McLeod and Kiser are recent recovery choices that can also help special teams.

Cornerback (5): Tyson Campbell, Jourdan Lewis, Jarrian Jones, Montaric Brown, of the Prince

We know that the first four players mentioned are in the team. Hunter will also be part of this position group. So that leaves a place to win, which, at that time, will give Prince, a choice of fifth round in the draft of the NFL 2024.

Security (6): Eric Murray, Darnell Savage, Antonio Johnson, Caleb Ransaw, Rayuan Lane, Andrew Wingard

It is a lot of security, but similar to the second, if the jaguars will only be five years old, I am not sure who would be arrested. Murray will start, while Savage, Johnson, Ransaw and Wingard argue the playing time. Lane, a choice of Gladstone draft, can provide immediate help on the special teams.

Special teams (3): Logan Cooke, Ross Matiscik, Cam Little

No questions here.
