Wounded players returning for Chicago in 2025

The Chicago Bears will start the training camp on July 23, where there will be a handful of players who will recover from an injury.

Whether it is veterans who landed on the injured reserve, such as jaquan Brisker security and the defensive platform Andrew Billings, or new arrivals who recover from injuries, such as the Bout tight Colston Loveland, there are key contributors who return in time for the camp.

Here is an overview of Bear The players returning to the field after their 2024 season were interrupted. (Note: the players included were at the end of the reserve by the season)

Jaquan Vire

Safety Jaquan Brisker missed most of the 2024 season after having undergone a concussion in a week 5 against the Carolina Panthers. He marked the third concussion of Brisker in as many seasons, which aroused concerns about his health. Brisker, who missed 12 games last season, enters a year of contract and must prove that he can remain healthy for an entire season if he hopes to win an extension with Chicago. He will come back as a 1-2 punch with Kevin Byard III, also in a year of contract, in the defensive rear field.

Andrew Billings

The defensive platform Andrew Billings was an integral part of the Bears defensive line and a robust race defender. Thus, when he underwent a pectoral muscle torn into a loss of week 10 New England PatriotsIt was a massive blow for the defense of Chicago. Billings, who signed a two -year contract extension last season, also helped the development of Gervon Dexter Sr. during his first year as a start -up. Billings will be back as a key contributor along the Bears defensive line and will help overthrow what was a porous race last year.

Braxton Jones

The old fifth round choice Braxton Jones has been the left tackle for Chicago since his recruit season, and he was useful in the role. Unfortunately, he suffered a fractured fractured in a defeat of week 16 Detroit lionsWhich interrupted his games of season two. The recovery held him out of the whole intersane program, and he faces the competition for the departure post of the recruit Ozzy Trapilo and the second year pro Kiran Amegadjie. Jones should be limited to start the training camp, but he could lose ground in the battle for the work of the left tackle if Trapilo or Amegadjie continue to impress.

COLSTON Loveland

The tight end Colston Loveland was the best player in the Michigan offensive in a year when they had a bad quarter-back game. He appeared in 10 games, including seven departures, where he led the team with 56 catches, set a tight school record in a single season for 582 yards with five touchdown. Unfortunately, Loveland underwent a right shoulder injury which forced her to miss the last three games, including a pivotal confrontation against Ohio State and Michigan’s victory over Alabama. Loveland has undergone surgery to repair its AC joint and recovery calendar on the right track for the training camp.

Keenum box

Before the Bears would sign Keenum box to serve as mentor for the quarter Caleb Williams, Keenum was in Houston doing the same for the Texans QB CJ Stroud. Unfortunately, Keenum suffered an injury to the foot at the end of the season during the pre-season which ended his season before having had the chance to start. Now Keenum will have the opportunity to win the backup work while serving as a resonance cash register for Williams. Keenum will start the training camp on the non-fotball injury list, which indicates an injury that occurred far from the team’s activities.

Ryan Bates

The Bears exchanged a choice of fourth round in Buffalo bills For the offensive line player Ryan Bates, the last off -season, and this decision was a disaster for the GM Ryan posts. Bates, who was supposed to be a basic starter along the offensive line, fought with injuries during his first two seasons. Bates, who played in just three games with two departures, was on a reserve injured twice last year. He fought injuries to the shoulders and elbows that landed him at the IR before week 2. He returned in week 10, from the right guard, and was back on IR before week 16. At this stage, it would not be surprising to see the Bears separate from Bates after revised the offensive line with this new coach staff.

Bill Murray

The BEARS offensive line fought powerfully last season, but goalkeeper Bill Murray turned out to be a solid depth. Murray, who intervened at the left guard for an injured Teven Jenkins, suffered a torn pectoral muscle injury during a defeat of week 8 against Washington commanders. He was placed on the injured reserve and missed the last 10 games of the 2024 season. Now Murray will compete in a reserve role at Guard.

Stephen Carlson

The winger tight Stephen Carlson landed on the injured reserve with a collarbone injury (suffered during training) only two days after being promoted from the active alignment training team last September. Unfortunately, Carlson missed the last 14 games of the season (including 13 while on IR).

Ian Wheeler

Last year, the not recovered recruit ball carrier, Ian Wheeler, was the star of HBO “Hard Knocks” because many were rooted for the future doctor who wanted to live his dream of the NFL. Wheeler was in the running for the last ball place, which finally went to Vellus Jones Jr., but he torn his ACL in the Bears pre-season final against the Kansas City chiefs. While Wheeler missed all his recruited season, he continued to readjust himself to Halas Hall. Now, with a new coach staff in place, we will see if Wheeler can recover from a serious knee injury and impress the new staff.
